Red Desert is the duo project of clarinetist Katie Porter and composer/percussionist Devin Maxwell. Red Desert will perform Devin Maxwell’s Chord Toss 3 for Bass Clarinet, Percussion and Live Electronics off the new Infrequent Seams release: Devin Maxwell Works 2011-14, as well as pieces by Alvin Lucier, Giacinto Scelsi and a premier by Lucie Vitkova.
